📖 Our Story
BabyGoMarche was born at 3 AM.
Not literally—but during one of those endless nights every new parent knows too well. Our founder was up Googling "why does my baby sound like a pig" for the third time, scrolling through conflicting advice from forums, outdated blog posts, and scary medical websites. A pediatric nurse by background and a first-time mum by circumstance, she realized something: Singapore parents needed one trusted place to find answers.
A place where you could decode those mysterious sleep sounds without falling down a Google rabbit hole. A place to check if your baby's milestones were on track without comparing yourself to every other parent in the mother's group. A place to find trusted pediatricians, lactation consultants, and baby-friendly cafes—all curated by local parents who've been there.
That night, between feeding and rocking and shushing, the idea for BabyGoMarche was born.
The name combines "Baby," the journey of "Go," and "Marché"—French for marketplace. It reflects our belief that parenting shouldn't feel like a frantic scramble through a crowded supermarket. It should feel like strolling through a thoughtfully curated market, where everything you need is beautifully organized and easy to find.
